Dons hooker Kyle Kesik has been granted a 12-month testimonial by the RFL.

Kesik has been with the club since 2009, making over 200 appearances during that time, and has now been recognised for his hard work both on the pitch and throughout the community.

Kesik said: “I’m delighted to be have been awarded a testimonial, it means a lot to me to have spent so many good years at this club.

“It’s nice to have been recognised for the time I have spent here and I’m looking forward to playing many more games here.”

Chief executive Carl Hall said: “It gives me great pleasure to see Kyle being awarded a testimonial year, I put the application together and submitted to the RFL who have approved it for him.

“Kyle has been very loyal to the club since 2009 and over the years has become a real fans favourite, so I am sure everyone will all be made up for him and support all the events he has lined up.

“I would like to thank him for the service he has already given and will continue to give, he wears his heart on his sleeve and gives his all for our club. I wish him all the best with his testimonial and will give him all the support he needs, well done Kyle.”
