PREVIEW | Miller looking for consistency

18th May 2018

Jack Miller is looking for an extended run in the Dons starting XIII after fellow half-back Liam Harris left the club to join Hull FC.

Miller has only featured five times for the Dons this season after picking up an ankle injury in February, but is now fit and ready to find some consistency in his game.

He said: "I said at the start of the season that I want to play as many games as I can, I had my ankle injury but I'm back now and looking for a run in the team.

"I wasn't good enough in the game against Bradford so I've learnt from it and need to better myself if I get a good few games in the side.

"If the side stays the same then we can have some consistency in the spine of the team, if we can get that then it's something to build on."

The Dons go up against ninth placed Hunslet in Betfred League One this weekend, and Miller says the game will be key at this stage of the season.

He added: "We need to keep picking up wins as consistency is what will keep us in the top four, we've won seven games so far so we've started off well.

"It's a tight league and losing one game could see us fall a place or two, Hunslet are part of the chasing pack so we need to make sure the gap isn't shortened.

"It's a big month for us because one or two defeats and teams are right back in the mix, we just want to keep ticking off wins week by week."

Tickets for the game against Hunslet at the Keepmoat Stadium are available from the Club Doncaster Box Office, on 01302 762576 or at
